We spent 5 very long, but fun-filled, overstimulating days at Disneyworld!!
Sorry for the picture overload!
Day 1: Magic Kingdom!
A carousel can be found anywhere, but it was a must!
And it was our first tantrum for the day.... Ellionna did not want to get off.
Gotta meet some princesses!
Everyone loved it!
She finally gave in at the end of the night!
Day 2: Hollywood Studios!
We ran into one our favorite movie characters!
Makenzie is making friends with the ducks and feeding them her crackers.
They had a "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" play place. We actually showed them the movie a few months ago, so they were more than excited to see what this was all about.
Lots to do.... lots to see!!!
We got rained out in the afternoon with a down pour. A constant drizzle followed for the rest of the night. We were cold, wet, and tired by the end. Jordan is our rollercoaster/thrill ride junkie and he was very adamant that we could not miss any of them. We were headed to see the fireworks before closing and he noticed that we hadn't done the Hollywood Tower of Terror. I didn't care to go, but Tyler was willing to hurry and take him over. Gavin was then adamant that he go, too. I really tried to talk him out of it, but he was throwing a fit. So we let him go. Yep, I think we traumatized him for the rest of the trip. Here's the picture! Gavin is there somewhere....
Day 3: Epcot
In front of the "Golf Ball"
Ellionna had it all figured out with the map.
Lots of fun hands-on activities for the kids!
It wouldn't be a Disney trip without meeting Mickey Mouse!
Minnie!
and Pluto!!
There was a fun Nemo themed Aquarium.
I hung out with Ellionna while the bigger kids went on a ride.
We went on a "Fast Track" ride.
I think this may have been a favorite.
They give you 3 minutes to design a car.
This is Gavin's and my car.
Here is Makenzie and Jordan's.
Then you go on a "test drive." It was a lot of fun. Gavin doesn't look too thrilled-- ha ha. He has his ears covered because it was too loud. I laugh at that, because he doesn't have a mute button and is loud too. But when something overrides him, it drives him nuts! Afterwards, his imagination exploded from the experience and he talked non-stop about the ride.
They had lots of cool cars to check out afterwards. It was the kid's dream to climb in and out of them with no boundaries.
Epcot is known for their "world cuisine."
We walked around and just waited for the fireworks.
Gavin fell asleep on the way out to the car. Nice and comfy.... not!!!
Day 4: Magic Kingdom!
The crowds were horrible this day. It was Friday and it took us forever to actually get in the park!
We rode a ferry over to the park and this silly bird sat with us the whole way over!
We did a few rides, but we knew very quickly that it was not going to be a good day with the younger two. Ellionna was falling apart over every little thing. She was running on very little sleep! Gavin was overstimulated to the max and was just crazy! So I decided to take them back to our hotel and Tyler stayed with the others. It worked out great! We got the break we all needed.
Day 5: Animal Kingdom
Last, but not least! I'm glad we went to this park on our last day. It was great!
It's like a zoo and an amusement park all in one. Lots of animals to see.
We got to go on an awesome safari ride.
It was like we were in Africa seeing the animals roaming free.
More characters to meet!
They had a petting zoo!
Ellionna loved these guys a little too much.
Gavin really liked this pig.
It was cracking me up because the pig would snort and Gavin would snort back.
I couldn't tell who was really snorting!
We went on the river rapids.
Tyler stayed dry with Ellionna and took pictures.
Jordan is the one who ended up getting the most wet.
There was a "Dino Dig" kids area. We stayed there for the rest of the night.
And that's a wrap!
We left at 3am to make the 14 hour drive home.
We raced back home because the weather forecast gave us this the next day!!!!
Tyler didn't even have to go to work!
Florida was good to us! It makes me want Spring here now! Bye bye, for now, shorts and flip flops!
