Birthday Boy Gavin!!

This guy brings so much excitement to our lives!  He has a zest for life that is so fun to watch!  He can be the most loving and helpful little guy!  Can he really be 7 years old now?

He wanted a Minecraft ice cream cake.  He had it all planned out.  We got a green colored cake and he put his Minecraft figures on top of it.

 

These summer days can be exhausting!

Backpacking the back country of WA

Tyler took the two oldest kids (and the dog) on their first backpacking trip.  It was a 12 mile hike roundtrip.  They had a lot of fun!  We love Washington and all the great outdoors!  This is practically in our backyard!

It was a little rainy on the first day.

 The deer were very friendly and inquisitive.

This place is called "Spider Meadows"

Tyler hopes to make this a yearly tradion each summer.
