So my side of the family got together and went camping for a few days.
Here is Gavin with his cousin, Carter, who is a year older than him. They look so much a like. They have the same hair color and sound so much a like. We often got them confused.
Ellionna got a little sunburned on the first day, although we were in the shade most of the time. So she got to hang out in her bonnet the rest of the time.
We went on a hike to the Cascade Falls. Here is a picture of the whole crew together, except for Kari, my sister-in-law, who took the picture. We randomly saw our old Bishop and his family on this hike, which was great because we were planning on visiting him anyway.
Sibling Picture. Me, Dave, Adam, Dan, and Becca.
Uncle Dan was a favorite among all the kids!
We did dutch oven one night. The BEST chicken, potatoes, and cobbler. Thanks to Tyler!
Raspberry-Peach Cobbler
Enjoying a beautiful morning in the mountains!
Jordan enjoyed his hot chocolate every morning! He requested it all day long, even when it was ninety degrees outside.
The kids enjoyed some crafts that Aunt Becca brought.
Painting... Lexi and Alivia.
You can't camp without four-wheelers! This, of course, was the highlight for all the kids. If we weren't four-wheeling, the kids were begging to go. They would then play on them and pretend with the helmets instead.
Tyler taking the boys.
Uncle Dave taking the girls.
Uncle Adam brought up a mini four-wheeler, which kids 6 and up could ride on their own. Makenzie and her cousin Dillon especially enjoyed this one!
Waiting to go on a ride!!
Dillon, Kaisee, and Sister-in-law Kari.
Matchbox cars were great entertainment!
Uncle Dan and his single man tent! We keep bugging him to get married and have a few kids to catch up with the rest of us.
Tyler is reading Calvin and Hobbes comics with the girls.
At one point we had 4 dogs camping with us. Makenzie is holding Cocoa. But it didn't last long and 3 dogs ended up going home within the first couple hours of being there.
