9 days of paradise!

I wish I could say this was a second honeymoon, but unfortunantly not everyone comes to Hawaii to vacation! Tyler has had to work 12 hour days and also prepare for a presentation this last week. We played all weekend long, but everything in between I've enjoyed by myself. Although it's not what I prefer, I'm not complaining!

I ran about every morning at a nearby beach/park.
I even swam one day.

I went up to the North Shore and found a beach which I shared with tons of sea turtles.
What a sight!

We went at the perfect time-- early Saturday morning before all the crowds and before you had to pay admission and watch a preservation video.

It was so fun to hold hands and snorkel together! We saw such a variety of fish. Tiger striped, black and white polka dot, neon colors, trumpet fish. We saw schools of fish. We saw a sea turtle. It was all amazing!

On the way up to Laie, HI. We drove up the east side of the island.

We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center which was amazing!
They had a pageant on canoes in the lagoon.

We got real leis and participated in a delicious luau!
Without fail, Tyler can fall asleep within seconds anywhere!

And here Tyler is getting ready to go to work. These are his Class A uniforms, which he never wears to work. He just had a presentation and interviews that day. He normally just wears scrubs or his ACU's (camo) to work.
