I'm in denial that I have a ten year old! It seems just like yesterday when she was born! Makenzie is turning into a beautiful young woman! We had a small birthday party with family and our neighbor friends. She opted for a steak dinner and then ice cream cake!
Since her birthday was on a week day, we opted to do a birthday activity with friends later on. Makenzie decided to go to a ceramic cafe and each girl got to paint a fun little thing.
Of course, Makenzie picked a horse!
The paint was really light. They had to be fired in a kiln. I wish I got a final "after" photo the next week when we picked them up. The colors were a lot darker and they turned out great!
Of course, we had to go out for ice cream as well! Makenzie can eat a big bowl of ice cream everyday!
