Wow! September was a busy month. I have been adjusting to the
home-schooling and early mornings with seminary. It is a work in
progress, or can I just say it is a lot of work!!!! Ellionna is moving
into the toddler stage. She is just growing so fast. She loves
coloring and is learning to make masterpieces on the walls! My transition to having 4 kids is happening now. She is really starting to get busy! She is climbing onto everything now, which makes for another round of baby-proofing.
The missionary work is moving full force here in the Portsmouth area. I've been able to become friends with this wonderful gal, Shawna. It was great to see her make the decision of being baptized!
She has a cute 13 year old daughter, Mariah, who reminds me a lot like Merida off "Brave."
The kids randomly did a play before bed the other night. They are already getting excited for Christmas. It was about a tree and a star who decided to become friends. They made their own "costumes" out of tissue paper and construction paper.
Gavin found these glasses outside and it became the valued item at the Sherman household for a week. He wore the glasses everyday, until he moved on to another new and cool item.
Nana B. and Papa Joe came to visit for 2 whole weeks! I'm sure it wasn't much of a vacation for them though. They really helped me out with the home-schooling and the younger kids. My dishes were constantly done and the items on my "Daddy-do" list got checked off. They so graciously allowed us to run away for a week vacation to Washington DC, to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. That is a whole other post. I love my parents and I'm so glad they survived our crazy bunch!
Makenzie is showing off the project she made with Grandma's help. It is a plaster stepping stone.
