Proud to show you his green gum and also the back of his shirt.
T-Ball season has started here. We decided to let Jordan take his turn at an extra-curricular activity. He has been so proud to be apart of something now, since his sister has been taking dance for several months. The community here is BIG on baseball. It's a little too much for me, but what do you do? They had opening ceremonies last night where each team rides in a truck and parades from the schools to the baseball fields. I think everyone from the city was there. Traffic was horrible. The kids even threw candy..... and lots of it! So much that the other kids couldn't keep up on picking it up. I was so excited to get rid of all the Easter candy last week and now we just got another HUGE haul.
Jordan had his first game today and I think he enjoyed. It's T-ball, so it was quite entertaining to watch. Another story that relates to Jordan and baseball. We got him a mitt for his birthday. After only one practice, the mitt mysteriously disappeared. After 3 weeks of not finding the mitt and not having one for practice, I finally broke down and bought another one for him (knowing that once I did, the old one would show up.) Sure enough 3 days later, I found the other one!! Stuffed in a toy box that hasn't been opened since the mitt probably got put in there.
