I guess he isn't as attached to his beautiful red hair as I am! And good thing he is a boy and a buzzed head isn't as much of a dramatic thing than if he was a girl!
I had given a boys a trim earlier in the evening. Everyone had showered and bathed and we were all playing upstairs. Gavin had gone downstairs to find one of his shoes. I realized after about 5 minutes that he never came back up and it was really quiet! The older kids ran down the stairs right then and all of a sudden Jordan is screaming and crying hysterically telling me that Gavin had the "cutters." My first thought was that he was bleeding all over... from scissors or a razor. Nope, he just decided to buzz his head with the trimmer on the shortest length possible! Jordan was so sad for him. So I trimmed the rest of the hair off and now it looks like I have a kid with cancer. (I don't mean that in any offensive way with children who really are suffering from cancer. That's just what everyone assumes when you have a bald child!) He rubs his fuzzy head and asks where his hair went. Every time Gavin looks in the mirror now too, he gives himself a peculiar look, like he knows that face looking back at him but his reflection is surely different.
This is the after.
The video will show the hysterics that Jordan was having and our silly innocent 2 year old not knowing what he really did.

That is so funny. Sad all his red hair is gone but luckly it grows back.
I love Jordans reaction! What a sweet kid. I guess the reverse mohawk was pretty scary looking. It's a good thing it is just hair.
