4 Fingers for Ellionna

Our little Miss E is now able to tell people she is 4 years old!
She is a ray of sunshine.  She is so full of love and also full of some red-haired spice!

She was excited to get some new dress-ups for her birthday.

She requested princess cupcakes... I think they turned out cute!

Thank you dollar store for making our Princess Birthday party a success!

Raising kids....

My kids are my life!

My two red heads love their baby sis!  They are constantly wanting to give her attention.

4 months old

 So happy and smiley!

She's a roller now...
 Sister LOVE

I joined the 4 eyed club!  They look much better on Amelia though!

The kids enjoyed a school carnival one night... full of fake blood, candy, and face painting.

Makenzie was a recipient of a prestigious reading award at school.  They call it the Lincoln award.

Spring Break in Seattle

We decided to go to Seattle for a few days over the kid's Spring Break and show them the sites.  They have a great "City Pass" deal where we can see 5 places for a great price.

We toured downtown Seattle and showed the kids the "gum wall"

They all gave their piece to the wall... except Ellionna.
She didn't want to give her's up.

We went to the top of the Space needle to see the sights.
We also enjoyed the Science museum and a fun park in the area.

We got to go to the zoo.  This was our last day and we were all pretty tired, so we enjoyed it the best we could!

Easter Day

My kids can clean up well for church! Such cuties!

Makenzie is 11!

I'm struggling with the idea that my daughter is in her last year of primary!  I can't believe she's been apart of our family for 11 years, and that in another 11 years, she could possibly starting her own!  (I'm not saying anything, except that I was 21 when I got married and 23 when I had her.)  Until then, we will enjoy our tween!  We surprised her with one LARGE gift.  She opened up some new cowgirl boots.... which would be beneficial with the horse lessons she would be starting!  She was more than excited! I need to get picks of her out on the ranch, as she is a natural out there.

We had a small family party on her actual birthday.
Ice cream cake, of course!

We took her out bowling with some of her friends.  She has found a great bunch of girls.

Randomness of our Lives

Our hot water heater started leaking, so we invested into a tankless hot water heater.  Tyler did his research on it and installed it.

Ellionna so innocently is showing Tyler her owie on her finger.  Tyler is not so innocent about capturing a picture to blackmail her later on in life.

 Jordan is good at multi-tasking.

These boys still are sleeping together.
They start in separate beds at night, but Jordan always ends up in Gavin's bed.

Ellionna with all her gear.
She is becoming quite the mess-maker with putting her toys all over the house.

Makenzie, our book worm.
We just went to the library and she was so excited to get a new stack of books that will be read through in just a few weeks.

How many can we fit in for a selfie?

Seattle chocolate tasting tour

Tyler and I are trying to go on more unique dates.  I made him a binder for Christmas that consists of 12 fun dates, one for each month.  In February, we went to Seattle to take part in a 2 hour Chocolate Tasting tour.  We visited 6 shops in downtown and was able to learn all about chocolate and of course taste anything and everything chocolate.  Ice cream, cupcakes, chocolate bars from all over the world, cookies, hot chocolate, cheesecake, and even a cocoa bean as well (They have a very strong, bitter taste.)  I didn't think it was possible, but we were chocolated out by the end!

Trying to make a chocolate mustache.

We also tried some coconut cream pie,

as it was a "staple" at one of the shops.

We also was able to walk around a bit and tour the area.  The "gum wall" was something we ran into.  Baby Amelia joined us for the date too, although you can only see her head.
